We are urgently seeking experienced Office Administrators and Receptionists who are proficient in SIMS to support schools across the entire Liverpool region. Whether you are located in the City Centre (L1-L3), North Liverpool (L4-L6, L9, L20), or South Liverpool (L15-L19, L24-L25), we have local roles ready for an immediate start.
Job Responsibility:
Manage Student Records: Use the SIMS database to update pupil profiles and personal information accurately
Track Attendance: Record daily student attendance and manage absence reports within the SIMS system
Front Desk Support: Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and contractors, ensuring a professional welcome
Communication: Answer the main school phone line, redirecting calls and taking clear messages for staff
General Admin: Handle school emails, type up letters for parents, and manage incoming and outgoing post
Office Support: Assist with basic financial tasks such as school meal payments or ordering essential supplies
Requirements:
SIMS Expertise: You must have previous experience using SIMS software in a school or office setting
Tech Savvy: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
Communication: A friendly, patient, and professional manner when dealing with children and adults
Organisation: Ability to multitask and stay organised in a fast-paced, busy school environment
Safety: An Enhanced DBS check is required (we can assist you in obtaining one if necessary)
