Coordinate all Permit to Work (PTW) activities to ensure safe, timely, and efficient preparation and execution of all related work within the Asset, in accordance with relevant corporate and industrial procedures.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the single point of contact for all PTW activities, acting as the primary interface between Operations and the Performing Party and ensuring necessary PTW/ePTW logistics
Liaise with performing parties during the planning phase to complete permit reviews, ensuring appropriate risk assessments are performed, identifying conflicts, and ensuring mitigation steps are implemented
Lead daily PTW coordination meetings and circulate schedules of planned work
Maintain daily registers of permits, supplementary certificates, audits, and performance statistics
Brief Area Shift Supervisors on next-day permits and ensure no conflicts with standing instructions or operational conditions
Conduct spot checks on the execution of permitted work to ensure compliance with PTW procedures
Coordinate and conduct routine PTW audits and act as the focal point for PTW audit activities
Track overdue or expired permits and supporting documents
Maintain records and hard copies as per document retention policies
Identify opportunities to improve PTW processes regarding safety, effectiveness, and efficiency
Propose enhancements to line management
Develop PTW reports and statistics, including PTW non-compliance reporting
Participate in PTW audits, incident investigations, and near-miss investigations related to PTW when appointed by line management
Requirements:
HND in Engineering
8 years' relevant operations experience within oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
Technical exposure to the designated process area, including experience with PTW systems
