Job Description:

The Large-Scale Integrated Photonics Laboratory at Hewlett Packard Labs has an immediate opening for a Research Scientist position. Responsibilities involve designing and measuring photonic devices and circuits, with expertise required in photonics design, testing, and simulation tools. The role is focused on delivering breakthroughs for HPE by innovating in integrated photonics.

Job Responsibility:

Conception and design of photonic devices such as photodetectors, modulators, and passive devices
expertise in the test and measurement of active and passive photonic devices
dissemination of results through peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

Requirements:

PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Materials
1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in integrated photonics research
experience with the design of photonics devices
experience with testing and evaluation of photonics devices
good written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and problem solving.
