Randstad is proud to partner with Queensland Rail (QR) on a major national and international recruitment drive to source exceptional signalling professionals. As part of this major recruitment drive, we are looking to identify experienced 2 x Signalling Leads (ETCS) for their Major Projects and Integration division (MPI). One position will be on Cross River Rail and the other will be on the Moorooka to Varsity project. QR operates passenger and freight rail services across Queensland, and is committed to providing a customer-focused, safe and world-class rail service. It is also responsible for the maintenance of a 6600 kilometre rail network and the effective delivery of projects to improve the efficiency and increase the capacity of its rail assets. QR has a current project pipeline of over A$15 billion and this is expected to grow exponentially in the build up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games. As a result of this significant investment, the need to secure in-house signalling and systems assurance resources is paramount to support the Major Projects and Integration division (MPI). MPI is currently delivering Cross River Rail, which includes the installation/commissioning of ETCS level 2, The Wave project from Beerwah to Birtinya and the Logan To Gold Coast Faster Rail Project, The Signalling Lead - ETCS, will be guiding the entire lifecycle of next-generation signalling (Design, Renewals, Implementation, Testing, and Commissioning), ensuring the effective roll out of ETCS level 2.
