Job Description:

The Senior Signal Integrity Engineer at HPE will play a critical role in designing and validating signal integrity solutions for high-speed networking products. This position demands expertise in signal and power integrity (e.g., Ethernet SerDes, PCIe, DDR4/5), PCB stack-up design, and simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, and Sigrity. Collaboration, innovation, and technical mentorship are key aspects of the role, with scope for creating next-generation technologies.

Job Responsibility:

Design and validate signal integrity solutions for LAN products
perform SI analysis, simulations, and verification
research and develop innovative solutions for cutting-edge designs
conduct interconnect and power distribution network modeling
generate PCB stack-ups and design rules
verify designs against industry specifications
conduct lab performance measurements
identify and resolve SI/PI issues
provide mentorship and technical expertise within the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
minimum of three years of professional experience in Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI)
proven experience in product system board design, SI/PI analysis, development of SI simulation methodologies, and lab validation
solid understanding of electromagnetic theory and signal integrity fundamentals (e.g., transmission line effects, reflections, crosstalk, etc.)
strong knowledge in digital and analog circuit design
proficiency in Signal Integrity Simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, Sigrity)
hands-on lab equipment experience (e.g., VNA, TDR, oscilloscopes)
familiarity with PAM4 signaling is a plus.

Nice to have:

Familiarity with PAM4 signaling
experience in coaching and knowledge transfer
excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
