Sign Maker & Installer

• Operate and maintain large format printers, vinyl cutters and laminators
• Interpreting briefs accurately with a great understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques
• Application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles and window graphics
• Sign making, working with a wide range of substrates including Dibond, acrylics, metals, wood, vinyl and Foamex, to a consistently high standard
• Installing all types of internal and external signage, including fascia and post mounted signs
• Ensuring all installations are completed on time, to budget and to our usual high standards
• Following all company procedures and guidelines to ensure all signs are fitted safely and securely
• Taking responsibility for your own and others’ health and safety when working
• Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are understood and followed
• Providing outstanding customer service to our clients and others at all times

• A minimum of two years' industry experience making and installing a wide range of signage solutions
• Experience in the use of wide format printers, vinyl plotters and laminators together with a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques is essential
• Proven experience in a sign fitting role is absolutely necessary, encompassing vehicle graphics application, panel application, installation and use of relevant software packages
• Good working knowledge of design and RIP software
• The ability to interpret briefs accurately
• Clean driving licence
• Professional, flexible, enthusiastic individual, a strong communicator, well organised and be able to work alone, as well as part of a team
• An understanding of the importance of health & safety
