Columbia Technology Partners is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to design, operate, and sustain mission-critical RF and SIGINT collection environments. This position focuses on engineering complex, distributed systems that support data ingest, transport, and processing across hybrid Linux and Windows infrastructures. The engineer will support advanced collection ecosystems built on platforms such as DRT, NiFi, ONEROOF, DARKQUEST, and FORNSAT throughout the full system lifecycle.
Job Responsibility
Operate and maintain Linux- and Windows-based systems supporting RF and SIGINT missions, including environment configuration, software deployment, and network troubleshooting
Translate operational needs, CONOPS, and architectural designs into actionable system requirements and technical specifications
Architect and integrate end-to-end solutions across hardware, software, and networking elements using DoDAF-aligned and service-oriented design principles
Author and manage systems engineering artifacts, including system plans, interface control documentation, and requirements traceability matrices
Execute and support integration, test, verification, and validation efforts for complex collection platforms and associated data pipelines
Serve as a senior technical contributor, providing guidance during design reviews, configuration control boards, and program-level technical discussions
Collaborate directly with Government customers to resolve technical challenges, manage system risk, assess performance, and support accreditation and lifecycle sustainment
Requirements

DOD 8570 Certification
This position requires an active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
Fourteen (14) years of demonstrated experience performing systems engineering on programs of comparable scope, complexity, and mission impact
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Management, or a related technical field from an accredited institution
An additional five (5) years of relevant Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree
