The Shutdown Planner is an identified individual allocated to manage the planning, coordination and execution of facilities shutdown/configuration change activities in support of planned maintenance and/or construction project works at JDFPG. The Shutdown Planner is responsible for the development of deliberate and controlled solutions to facilitate transitions between standard and non-standard facility critical infrastructure configuration. As part of this responsibility, the Shutdown Planner coordinates the creation of impact assessments, interpretation of relevant stakeholder comments, assisting the communication of technical impacts, drafting and review of configuration change procedures and associated documentation. During the execution phase of the configuration change, the Shutdown Planner is responsible for the overall management and coordination between identified stakeholders throughout the process, inclusive of conducting HV switching operations as required (training provided.) This position plays an integral role within a diverse and complex work environment and is a key advisor of the Project, O&M and customer teams across the Program Site.
Job Responsibility
Lead the development, review and update of configuration and procedural documentation
Plan, coordinate, and administer tasks in support of critical infrastructure configuration change
Prepare, develop, update and manage documentation relevant to facility standard configuration
Review and provide technical advice on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems, from general concepts through to detailed IFC designs
Support stakeholder engagement, communication and requirement definition
Develop and implement change management practices for critical infrastructure
Support the integration, coordination, compilation and communication of technical information, recommendations and advice relevant to facility infrastructure, systems and equipment
Provide technical recommendations, input, direction and advice on facilities system, infrastructure and equipment reliability, operation, maintenance and life-cycle management
Ensure compliance with all site environmental health and safety requirements
Any other reasonable duties as requested
Requirements
Certificate IV, Electrical / HVAC Trades Certificate or equivalent
Driver's License
Ability to interpret technical drawings/schematics and information
Sound Interpersonal and communications skills
Current Knowledge of: Power generation and distribution
