Valid HGV driving license (Class 1 or Class 2) is required
Proven experience as a shunter driver or in a similar role
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency

Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts as necessary

Job Responsibility

Safely maneuver and park trailers and trucks within our yard, maintaining organization and efficiency
Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth loading and unloading operations
Perform daily inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues to management
Adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff
Assist with other duties in the yard as required, contributing to team objectives
Communicate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams to meet operational needs
