Job Description

We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Shunt Truck Operators / General Labourers to join a busy Production Plant and Warehouse environment. The primary focus of this role is operating a shunt truck to move trailers, products, and materials safely within the yard and facility while also assisting with general labour and plant support duties as required. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with plant, production, or warehouse experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Shift Schedule: • One week mornings • One week afternoons • One week nights

Job Responsibility

  • Operate a shunt truck safely and efficiently within the facility and yard
  • Observe and follow all workplace safety policies and PPE requirements
  • Assist with loading and unloading pallets and products
  • Palletize, bag, count, pack, and label products
  • Clean and maintain production and warehouse work areas
  • Shovel grain spills and assist with sanitation duties as required
  • Follow directions from supervisors and plant operators
  • Assist production operators and warehouse personnel as needed
  • Support daily plant operations and general labour activities
  • Work both indoors and outdoors as required

Requirements

  • Previous shunt truck driving experience strongly preferred
  • Production plant or industrial labour experience is considered a strong asset
  • Warehouse and general labour experience preferred
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs consistently
  • Ability to work safely and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts (days, afternoons, and nights)
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
  • Safety-focused attitude with strong teamwork skills
