Shunt Driver

• Operate a shunt truck to move trailers and containers within the yard or designated areas safely
• Safely load and unload cargo using forklifts, ensuring all goods are handled carefully and efficiently
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures
• Assist in maintaining an organized and clean yard
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods and shipments

• Proven experience as a Shunt Driver with forklift operation experience
• Valid forklift certification and driver’s license (Class 1)
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
• Ability to operate shunt trucks and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and manage physically demanding tasks
• Previous experience in a transportation or logistics company is preferred but not required
