Job Description:

Short-term position for 2 months. Care for a happy and healthy 3-month-old baby. Family has one dog, candidates must be pet-friendly. Mom works from home, dad works outside the home. Grandma will be in town for a period. The baby will go into daycare at the end of the contract.

Job Responsibility:

  • All standard nanny duties including washing bottles, baby laundry, and light tidying
  • Care for one child who is 3 months old

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of nanny experience with infants
  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap

Nice to have:

  • Second language
  • Degree
  • The ideal candidate does not believe in the cry-it-out method
  • The family is hoping for a very responsive nanny who has knowledge of infant milestones
