Shopkeeper position for IKEA for Business, responsible for understanding local market and business customers' needs, improving shopping experience, building relationships with business community, leading commercial activities, and driving sales to businesses through strategic action plans.
Job Responsibility:
Understand local market, consumers, and business customers' needs to improve shopping experience
Look at store through customers' eyes and spend time on shop floor talking to customers and colleagues
Use knowledge of customers, market and competition to secure appropriate local market offer
Build long-lasting relationships with local business community
Ensure co-workers are available and actively offer assistance to customers
Optimise impact of IKEA BUSINESS point and maximize effectiveness of IKEA BUSINESS consultants
Know about all services offered in store and help customers make informed choices
Handle customer complaints and offer informed solutions
Ensure store is safe and secure environment
Lead commercial team to plan and implement commercial activities
Ensure all co-workers understand specific needs of IKEA BUSINESS customers
Take fast action on commercial opportunities
Work with customer relations and operations on service execution
Analyse results of media and activities aimed at business customers
Network between stores to share good examples
Ensure actions align with objectives of becoming leader in life at home and work
Create action plan based on store business plan and KPIs
Communicate IKEA BUSINESS action plan to motivate colleagues
Ensure qualitative and efficient implementation in store
Follow up on action plan and communicate progress
Provide inspiring and motivating direction for colleagues
Ensure right number of co-workers and planners in place
Share knowledge and experience in store management team
Create environment of trust with open, constructive feedback
Support national projects
Work with store sales manager to identify successor

Requirements:
Interest in people's everyday life at home and work and home furnishing in general
Interest in the specific needs of business customers
Experience of actively selling through understanding your customers and their needs
Experience of setting and implementing action plans, as well as setting and following up on goals
Ability to set expectations, provide clear direction, and follow-up
Ability to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of local market conditions and competitive environments
Experience of taking commercial decisions based on local market information
Ability to engage a receiver and create passion for our goal
Ability to adjust the style of communication to get the message across to the receiver
Considered decision-maker with good problem-solving experience
Ability to prioritise and organise work in order to make the most efficient use of resources available
Self-starting, self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Ability to manage a horizontal business in store
Capability and interest in representing the IKEA organisation externally and being an ambassador for the IKEA Brand
Good presentation and negotiation skills
