Job Description

Our client, in the consumer goods space, is looking for a part-time remote Shopify Merchandising Consultant to join their team. This would be a 10-15 hour a week opportunity and those hours would need to be during regular business hours.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the day-to-day merchandising of the ecommerce website
  • Build and maintain product pages, collection pages, and homepage
  • Update product detail pages (PDPs) including images, product descriptions, and merchandising copy
  • Adjust site navigation and featured collections to align with seasonal transitions (e.g., holiday and gifting moments)
  • Use sales data and site data to inform merchandising strategy
  • Support merchandising needs across all active SKUs as needed
  • Support product launches across the website (and Amazon, where applicable)
  • Coordinate timelines for product photography and product copy creation and updates
  • Ensure products are launched in alignment with seasonal calendars

Requirements

  • Experience in Digital Merchandising, Ecommerce, or Marketing Coordination, ideally within a B2C / DTC environment
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Shopify
  • Experience building and updating product listings, collections, and website content
  • Familiarity with coordinating creative assets (product photos, website copy)
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills
  • Experience using task or project-management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Notion, or similar)
  • Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets for tracking products, assets, and timelines
  • Data driven and can identify opportunities for improving efficiency in repeated tasks
