Job Responsibility:

  • Full accountability for shop’s performance
  • Play a pivotal role in making sure we offer a warm and welcoming environment for customers to place bets, watch live sports and play gaming machines
  • Leading and developing a team of retail colleagues
  • Delivering the highest possible retail standards and an excellent customer experience
  • Become an expert in betting
  • Make sure our customers enjoy our products and services responsibly
  • Ensure that all our customers are betting within their means
  • Ensure that our ‘Think 25’ policy is always followed

Requirements:

  • Be 18+ and have the right to work in the UK
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Previous management experience in the betting or gambling industry
  • Ability to build credible relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to engage all customers
  • A passion for sports, betting and gaming is beneficial but not essential
  • An eagerness to learn, develop and flourish within the Betfred family

  • Achieve and where possible, exceed, shop income and expenditure targets on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis. Identify and proactively address areas of shortfall
  • Use management knowledge and reports available to ensure the shop stock is displayed proportionately, price ranges are in-line with the pricing structure
  • Support the Shop Manager and undertake regular 121’s with staff that you have responsibility for. Coach the team on effective sales, customer experience, security and stock management best practices
