Job Description

This position provides general laborer support to the mechanical department at the company’s shop location such as: carrying materials, spotting equipment during operation, sanitizing. The position will also complete all other duties as assigned by the shop manager in accordance with restrictions.

Job Responsibility

  • Works under immediate supervision in a team based environment
  • Reports any problems or issues to supervisor for assistance
  • Visually assists equipment operators by spotting during operation of equipment
  • Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner
  • Must adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Performs other functions/duties as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Roles requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to
  • eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and safety shoes
  • All other duties as assigned by the position’s direct supervisor

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of construction or related experience
  • Ability to clearly communicate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Ability to learn and gain knowledge
  • Ability to follow work orders or receive instructions
  • Ability to adhere to Safety policies and procedures
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
  • OSHA 10 Certification Preferred
