Job Responsibility:

  • Perform manufacturing tasks in a manner that is consistent with company policies and performance metrics with an attitude of excellence
  • Interpret job orders and drawings as needed for the area of assignment
  • Layout and fabrication of equipment and parts
  • Operate trade-specific machinery
  • Maintains time records accurately

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of electrical experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational training in electrical preferred
  • 4+ years of electrical experience (for Shop Electrician-2)
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings independently (for Shop Electrician-2)
  • 6+ years of electrical experience (for Shop Electrician-3)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (for Shop Electrician-3)
  • Reads and interprets advanced blueprints (for Shop Electrician-3)
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of electrical codes, standards, and quality assurance (for Shop Electrician-3)
  • Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas
  • Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations
  • Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, move, and/or carry 50 lbs.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
