Job Responsibility:

Perform manufacturing tasks in a manner that is consistent with company policies and performance metrics with an attitude of excellence
Interpret job orders and drawings as needed for the area of assignment
Layout and fabrication of equipment and parts
Operate trade-specific machinery
Maintains time records accurately
Perform other assignments as directed by production management
Receives direct supervision in performing technical responsibilities
Contributes to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques, and procedures
Brings energy to a team under the general supervision of an experienced professional or manager
Displays judgment and initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations
Mentors Shop Electrician-1’s (for Shop Electrician-2)
Leads, mentors, develops, and drives a cross-functional manufacturing team (for Shop Electrician-3)

Requirements:

2+ years of electrical experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Vocational training in electrical preferred
4+ years of electrical experience (for Shop Electrician-2)
Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings independently (for Shop Electrician-2)
6+ years of electrical experience (for Shop Electrician-3)
Excellent problem-solving skills (for Shop Electrician-3)
Reads and interprets advanced blueprints (for Shop Electrician-3)
Demonstrates deep understanding of electrical codes, standards, and quality assurance (for Shop Electrician-3)
Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas
Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations
Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch for extended periods
Ability to lift, move, and/or carry 50 lbs.
Comply with all company policies and procedures
