Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Shipside Operation Specialist to support the Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) program in Huntsville, AL. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Shipside Operations Specialists. Job Responsibility:

  • Assists with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Provides limited feedback on assessment results
  • Supports the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans
  • Works under general supervision

Requirements:

  • 1+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing or Operations environment
  • 1+ years’ experience collecting and interpreting data
  • Experience working with Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
  • Must be able to work any shift based on seniority and work assignment
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Nice to have:

  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci)
  • Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Experience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)
  • Experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
  • An Active U.S Secret Security Clearance
