The Shipping/Stockroom Associate at Baxter plays a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse or stockroom. They are responsible for various tasks related to the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products in our warehouse. This position requires attention to detail, commitment to quality, and adherence to safety protocols that directly contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare products that save and sustain lives.
Job Responsibility:
Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks and shelves, or vehicles, such as trucks
Stack or pile materials, such as bins, boxes, or pallets
Receive, Put-away, Pick, Deliver and Pack items according to specific processes
Record number of units handled and moved, using daily production sheet or work tickets
Attach material identification tags/label information on containers
Cleans work area, using brooms, rags, and cleaning compounds
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment following established procedures and timelines
Perform SAP transactions to accurately record all inventory movements per work instructions
Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and properly labeled prior to delivery
Collaborate with team members to prioritize workload and meet operational commitments
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment to support safe and effective operations
Follow 6S standards and proactively identify ways to improve workflow and accessibility
Ensure work areas are free from hazards and aligned with safety guidelines at all times
Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and maintain a smooth daily workflow
Support onboarding and training of new associates on warehouse processes and best practices
Perform additional duties as assigned to support department and site goals
Actively contribute to Baxter’s Zero Harm culture by following Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies, safe work practices, and regulatory requirements
Promptly report hazards, near misses, and incidents, and participate in corrective and preventive actions
Demonstrate accountability for quality and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards
Complete required legal and compliance training to ensure adherence to ethical, safety, and regulatory expectations
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus but not required
Must have the aptitude to perform duties proficiently once training has been received
30 days from hire = SAP Transactions. Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety protocols
Listen/Read to understand information and ideas presented
Arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, and mathematical operations)
Proficiency in operating material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping
