Job Description:

The Shipping Specialist will play a key role in ensuring efficient shipping operations, working closely with both domestic and international partners. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage high volumes of product SKUs, and a commitment to teamwork within a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

Manage small parcel shipping processes using tools such as UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager
Coordinate closely with overseas shippers and the shipping manager to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Maintain precise records for a large variety of product SKUs and customer shipments
Assist in preparing and handling overseas shipments when necessary
Cross-train to support other roles within the company during vacations, illnesses, or high workload periods
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to address shipping-related issues
Perform regular audits to verify shipment accuracy and inventory levels
Generate charts and graphs to track shipping performance and identify areas for improvement
Handle clerical duties related to shipping, including answering inbound calls and updating shipping documentation

Requirements:

Proven experience with small parcel shipping processes and tools like UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of product SKUs
Excellent organizational skills and a solid work ethic
Ability to collaborate effectively with international shipping partners and internal teams
Familiarity with ERP solutions and financial services software such as Epic and Cerner Technologies
Proficiency in creating charts, graphs, and conducting audits
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Willingness to cross-train and adapt to different roles as needed
