Responsible for leading and training shipping & receiving employees to ensure conformance to Company standards and meet production specifications and requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations
create and document shipments and transfers providing tracking information and Bill of Ladings between warehouse and other Branches ensuring all orders are shipped in Syteline
secure transportation and third party logistics for the distribution of materials to other facilities
ensure all inbound and out bound ship documentation including shipping order, purchase orders, transfer orders, and Bills of Ladings match the equipment
maintain records and documents, both in paper and electronic form
ensure in-bound equipment is forwarded to Quality Control as required
create schedules and on-call duties for the department and participates on on-call duties every other week and after-hours duties
make sure that all out bound equipment is loaded in a safe, secure and in a timely manner for delivery to end user while meeting/exceeding customer specific requirements
monitor Hot Shot drivers to ensure adherence to CACTUS safety standards/maintaining driver logs
NORMs all in-bound Rental and Customer property valves
monitor various reports pertaining to shipping and receiving including Open Purchase Order Reports
assign locations for inventory and preforms quantity moves when necessary
monitor inventory levels and communicate with Materials Manager
assist with cycle counts as needed
assure that the Shipping and Receiving department follows the Cactus Wellhead Receiving Process i.e. check product against transfer order, part number/review description, and quantity, serial number and heat number
verify weight, thread type, grade size on casing/pup joints
provide traceability engineering reports for elastomers while adhering to proper storage procedures
identify and label inventory with the correct part numbers
complete an equipment evaluation receiving report after equipment is returned to the branch
stencil and yellow-dot most of the equipment that leaves the facility
special projects or assignments as directed by management
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
one to three months related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience
working knowledge of API Standards and shipping & receiving procedures
basic computer, language, and mathematical skills
basic reasoning ability
must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
climb stairs and ladders
bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
work in confined spaces when required
operate heavy equipment and power tools
perform repetitive movements
wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
follow all safety protocols and procedures
participate in regular safety training
complete required safety certifications
comply with all environmental regulations
