Job Description

This position requires a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail. Storeroom attendant will be responsible for auditing consumable supplies in vending machines and reordering as needed. Storeroom attendant will receive material from shipping companies and compare the items received against the associated purchase orders for accuracy. Attendant will label the material and move items to the correct locations in the laydown yard. Attendant will prepare outgoing shipments for the local parcel companies.

Job Responsibility

  • Auditing consumable supplies in vending machines and reordering as needed
  • Receiving material from shipping companies and comparing items received against associated purchase orders for accuracy
  • Labeling material and moving items to correct locations in laydown yard
  • Preparing outgoing shipments for local parcel companies
  • Performing duties safely in accordance with PSI safety standards
  • Assigning PO's for consumable supplies
  • Unloading and receiving material
  • Comparing received material against associated PO for accuracy
  • Entering received material in system to notify management of its arrival
  • Labeling and moving material to laydown yard
  • Preparing outgoing packages and giving to UPS, FedEx, etc.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Email)
  • Ability to learn to operate a fork truck
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to review ship tickets against the PO to identify any discrepancies
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member with other personnel
  • Experience in operating a fork truck preferred
  • Experience with working with basic computer software
  • Valid Driver's License or State ID
  • Able to pass a drug screen and background check
