A highly respected boutique practice with a strong reputation in the maritime sector is seeking a talented Shipping Litigation Lawyer (4+ PQE) to join its specialist team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer looking to step into a role offering high-quality contentious work, close client contact, and the chance to develop within a focused, partner-led environment. Job Responsibility:

  • advise on a broad range of complex maritime disputes, including charterparty issues, cargo claims, vessel arrests, collisions, groundings and other wet and dry shipping matters
  • work directly with seasoned Partners on technically challenging cases, often involving international elements and high-value commercial interests

Requirements:

  • 4+ PQE
  • solid grounding in shipping litigation, ideally gained at a recognised shipping practice
  • comfortable managing matters with appropriate autonomy
  • strong drafting skills
  • commercial awareness
  • ability to build trusted client relationships
