Shipping Lead

• Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items
• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped
• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production
• Loads, unloads and moves materials within or near plant or work site
• Loads and unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand weighing up to 60 pounds
• Packaging, strapping, wrapping materials for shipping

• Requires minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience
• This position require a valid driver's license
• Responsible and Flexible
• Oracle knowledge is a plus, basic Excel and MS Word
