We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping, receiving, and transportation coordination for a manufacturing operation in California. Job Responsibility:
Coordinate outgoing and incoming shipments to help maintain accurate and timely product movement across the facility
Prepare shipping records, labels, and related paperwork while ensuring order details and freight information are entered correctly into company systems
Work with carriers to schedule pickups, track deliveries, and resolve routine shipment issues
Support receiving activities by verifying deliveries, documenting discrepancies, and updating inventory or shipment status as needed
Use Microsoft Office, Epicor, and freight or pricing tools to maintain organized logistics data and reporting
Communicate with internal departments to confirm shipping priorities, delivery timelines, and order requirements
Monitor shipping and receiving workflows to help maintain efficiency and compliance with established procedures
Assist with logistics-related administrative tasks and other operational support duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, or transportation coordination within an operational environment
Working knowledge of carrier platforms and shipping processes, including UPS and FedEx
Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and learn or work within ERP and freight management systems such as Epicor
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage documentation, data entry, and shipment records accurately
Effective interpersonal skills and a detail-oriented attitude that supports collaboration with long-tenured team members
Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while staying responsive and organized throughout the workday
Must be able to pass required background screening, and all candidates are required to undergo screening as part of the hiring process
