The Logistics Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support to the logistics department. The ideal candidate will have prior logistics experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence
Filter incoming goods and ensure packing slips match the content of the shipment
Enter receipts of incoming goods into the system
Co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
Answer telephone and electronic inquiries regarding the logistics department
May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience working with sensitive and confidential information
Previous clerical experience is required
Nice to have:
Post-Secondary education for administrative assistant or secretarial work is an asset
