We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Hobbs, New Mexico. This is a Contract to permanent position requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, ensure accurate record-keeping, and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and oversee the movement of inbound and outbound trucks, ensuring smooth operations
Maintain accurate records of customer inventory and update systems regularly
Multitask effectively to handle various responsibilities in a high-pressure setting
Organize and prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines and operational goals
Utilize Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting purposes
Communicate with customers to address inquiries and provide shipment updates
Support dispatching and logistics to ensure timely deliveries
Monitor inventory levels and perform physical inventory checks when required
Assist with preparing invoices and tracking customer contracts
Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and improve efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience in inventory management and logistics
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Reliable attendance and a commitment to maintaining high standards with attention to detail
Nice to have:
Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred
Bilingual skills are a plus
