As a shipping and receiving clerk, you will independently manage the logistics of the loading dock. Your daily role consists of coordinating the arrival and departure of goods with carriers, strictly verifying the accuracy and compliance of received orders, and operating the forklift to ensure a smooth and efficient warehouse workflow.
Job Responsibility
Greet carriers and manage all daily incoming and outgoing shipments
Verify goods (weight, quantity, condition) against purchase orders and invoices
Enter logistics data into the warehouse computer system (ERP)
Prepare, wrap, and label pallets for secure shipment
Operate the forklift as needed to safely move materials around the dock
Requirements
5 to 6 years of solid experience in shipping/receiving (industrial environment)
Valid forklift operator license
Comfortable using office computer tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP systems)
Autonomous, detail-oriented, and able to work productively alone
Mandatory criminal background and reference checks
