Job Responsibility
Receive all incoming goods manually from suppliers, ensuring safe handling without the use of a forklift
Verify incoming goods meticulously for accuracy against paper invoices and packing slips without reliance on digital scanners
Placing products efficiently within designated warehouse shelves and storage areas to optimize space
Packing all outgoing orders securely to prevent damage during transit and maintaining high quality control
Loading outgoing delivery trucks manually, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo safety
General warehouse cleaning and organizing daily to maintain a safe, tidy, and hazard-free working environment
Requirements
Previous experience as a shipper/receiver, warehouse clerk, or a related role within the manufacturing & logistics field
Ability to comfortably handle the physical demands of manual loading, unloading, and lifting without forklift assistance
Demonstrated comfort working with traditional paper-based inventory tracking and verification processes
Reliable transportation to the workplace location in Nepean, ON, ensuring consistent punctuality
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety regulations within an industrial or warehouse setting
What we offer
Competitive hourly salary ranging between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour based on experience
Stable daytime schedule from Monday to Thursday (8:00am to 5:00pm) and an early departure on Fridays (8:00am to 4:00pm)
