Job Description:

Our client who is a recognized regional market leader in industrial hydraulics, manufacturer of hydraulic power units, high precision hydraulic control systems is looking for a permanent Shipper Receiver to join their company. Role: Shipper Receiver Shift time: Mon- Friday - 8 AM -4:30 pm Rate: $24- $29/hr

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate the forklift- Counterbalance, Reach toyota, stand up
  • Loading/unloading trucks, uncrating, verifying deliveries against packing lists, posting goods receipts, moving materials around the site, and packing/labeling of finished goods
  • Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy and damage, and process paperwork
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments (LTL, courier, local deliveries)
  • Book freight, create BOLs, and ensure shipping documents are complete and accurate
  • Coordinate with vendors, couriers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Inventory management/inspection
  • Organize, label, and store materials, components, and inventory
  • Stage parts and materials for production builds or customer orders
  • Manual picking/ no rf scanner
  • Physically demanding
  • Lots of lifting and physical work
  • Must be open to OT

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid external forklift license for the counterbalance and reach Toyota, stand up
  • Assist other operations team members to fulfill customer needs as necessary
  • As a self-motivated individual, contribute to an inclusive, energetic, hard-working / hands-on company environment
  • Must be ok with doing overtime
  • Must be physically fit to perform tasks
  • Minimum 2 years of experience performing a broad range of logistics tasks, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact with employees, vendors, and customers in a highly professional manner
  • Time management, punctuality, and reliability
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency with the Microsoft Office platform
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work at heights and/or in confined spaces
