Job Responsibility

Perform daily inspections on shop cranes and forklifts
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to load/unload flatbeds, vans, and trucks
Ensure timely and accurate movement of material in and out of the plant
Maintain safe and clean shipping/receiving areas
Support production teams by preparing and moving materials as required
Perform inventory checks and assist with material tracking
Work indoors and outdoors year-round in varying conditions

Physical demands– Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work
vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, calculator or scanner. Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Personal characteristics- Employees are expected to maintain a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to be punctual daily.

Preparing packaging materials and supplies such as boxes, tape, and labels.
