Job Description:

We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our manufacturing & logistics team in Campbell Heights. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, preparing essential shipping documentation, and coordinating with carriers to maintain smooth warehouse operations. The position requires an on-site presence from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with a necessity for weekend overtime during peak seasonal demands. Fluency in English is essential for interacting with international carriers. Job Responsibility:

  • Verify shipping and receiving information, prepare necessary documents, and process freight bills and packing sheets
  • Ensure all outgoing orders are accurately prepared for shipping, including packing, labeling, and meeting specific client requirements
  • Provide customers with tracking information and shipping updates while resolving any delivery issues
  • Sign drivers in and out of the facility efficiently
  • Direct carriers to specific dock doors upon arrival and update the system to ensure accuracy during loading/unloading
  • Properly record all received items into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory system
  • Communicate with carriers to establish maximum efficiency for the delivery of products
  • Provide regular reports to management regarding inventory levels, shipments, and receiving processes
  • Organize and prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a manufacturing & logistics environment
  • Review and verify shipping, transportation, and warehouse service charges
  • Maintain organized billing and transportation records, including weight, volume, and associated costs
  • Ensure proper billing codes and rates are applied according to contracts in the ERP and TMS

Requirements:

  • Previous Shipping and Receiving experience is required
  • Fluency with the English language, both verbal and written (essential)
  • Good attendance record and strong work ethic
  • Capable of working in a very fast-paced manufacturing & logistics operation
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with ERP systems
