Job Description

  • Order picking using an RF scanner or pick list
  • Lifting 50lbs as needed
  • Reviewing packing slips
  • Communicating with couriers, vendors, and clients
  • Entering shipments into the computer
  • Loading and unloading items for shipment

Requirements

  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with RF scanner gun
  • Comfortable and confident operating pallet jacks (manual and/or electric)
  • Proficient in using computer systems and warehouse database/tracking software
  • Must possess and wear CSA-approved steel-toed boots
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • Proven experience in a logistics, warehouse, or shipping/receiving environment is an asset

  • Navigate Changing Priorities: Pivot seamlessly between urgent orders, unexpected freight arrivals, and general inventory organization on the fly
  • Drive Standalone Efficiency: Take complete ownership of the warehouse floor, maintaining a high-volume output with minimal supervisor oversight
  • Optimize Facility Space: Strategic placement and staging of goods inside and outside the facility to keep pathways safe and logistics fluid
  • Move products, materials, and machinery daily inside and outside the warehouse facility using manual and mechanical means
  • Complete customer orders by locating and picking products. Build orders and prepare them for shipment
  • Unload and load trucks efficiently. Ensure products are secure and verify the accuracy of labels and documentation
  • Re-stock inventory into the correct bins, shelving, or storage locations. Participate in physical warehouse inventory counts
