Job Description:

We are actively seeking a highly organized and experienced Shipper/Receiver to secure a stable, long-term position with our reputable client in Etobicoke. This is a Temporary-to-Permanent role offering excellent stability for a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and can ensure precise inventory accuracy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Precisely handle the incoming and outgoing flow of products (Shipping and Receiving)
  • Expertly operate electric Reach and Counterbalance forklifts for loading/unloading trucks and picking products
  • Safely conduct the loading and unloading of transport trucks and other deliveries
  • Maintain high inventory precision by performing diligent stock checks, using RF scanning, and ensuring proper labeling and relabeling
  • Prepare and wrap skids, and maintain detailed, accurate logs and records for all shipments and inventory
  • Accurately input data into software (like Excel) to track inventory and shipments
  • Complete general housekeeping to keep the work area clean and organized, and assist with other general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of experience working within a small to medium warehouse distribution environment
  • Valid forklift license
  • Two to three (2-3) years of proven experience operating both Counterbalance and Raymond Reach forklifts
  • High school diploma or an equivalent certification
  • Strong data entry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
