As a key member of a tight-knit team of 11, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods during the peak seasonal rush. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a physically demanding role and enjoys the precision of operating heavy machinery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate a propane-powered forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse
  • Perform manual material handling and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) for approximately 60% of the shift
  • Conduct manual order picking with a high degree of accuracy to meet daily shipping targets
  • Assist with general warehouse organization, cleaning, and support tasks as required
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse standards to maintain a secure working environment

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid and current sit-down Forklift License
  • Capacity to perform heavy lifting and manual labor for the majority of the workday
  • Reliable transportation to the Ottawa site for a 7:00 AM start time
  • Immediate availability to start and integrate into the team
  • Strong English language proficiency is required for this specific worksite
