Shipbuilding Metalworker (Section Construction) for SLOB

Work with relatively thin steel materials (up to approx. 8–10 mm), requiring high precision and strict adherence to tight tolerances (+2 / –4 mm, with maximum deviation of –3 mm over 6 meters). Perform tack welding in all positions using coated electrode (stick welding). Work independently based on technical drawings and parts lists, identifying and verifying components from pre-assembled kits. Safely operate overhead cranes for lifting and moving materials. Prepare work by reading drawings and documentation to locate and check required components. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment at all times. Communicate effectively in Dutch or English (Dutch preferred). Carry out material handling and transport using cranes when required.
