Job Description:

Shift Supervisor - Goals Wimbledon (18+ only due to licensing). Goals are the premier five a side football centre operator in the UK offering state of the art facilities throughout the country. This role is primarily a Team Member position, with additional Shift Supervisor responsibilities undertaken when management cover is required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service
  • Managing bookings, enquiries, and payments accurately
  • Handling face-to-face and telephone sales
  • Operating tills and booking systems confidently
  • Working efficiently in a busy bar environment
  • Delivering high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Building rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and increased spend
  • Handling cash and card transactions responsibly
  • Supporting promotions and Club initiatives
  • Acting as the senior person on duty in the absence of a Manager
  • Ensuring service, safety, and operational standards are maintained
  • Supervising and supporting Team Members on shift
  • Dealing with escalated customer issues appropriately
  • Carrying out opening and closing procedures when required
  • Completing basic administrative and cash-handling tasks
  • Communicating effectively with the Management Team regarding any issues arising during the shift

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational and administration skills
  • Computer literate, including basic Word and Excel
  • Experience of cash handling and customer transactions
  • Ability to lead by example when acting in a senior capacity
