Job Description:

Shift Supervisor role at Goals Football in Bradford. Primarily a Team Member position with additional Shift Supervisor responsibilities undertaken when management cover is required. Opportunity to progress towards management roles.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out Team Member duties as core role
  • Support day-to-day operation across reception and bar
  • Step into Shift Supervisor role on ad-hoc basis
  • Provide senior cover in absence of a Manager
  • Ensure operational standards are maintained
  • Deliver high standard of customer service
  • Provide professional and welcoming front-of-house service
  • Manage bookings, enquiries, and payments accurately
  • Handle face-to-face and telephone sales
  • Operate tills and booking systems
  • Work efficiently in a busy bar environment
  • Deliver high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Build rapport with customers
  • Handle cash and card transactions
  • Support promotions and Club initiatives
  • Act as senior person on duty when required
  • Supervise and support Team Members on shift
  • Deal with escalated customer issues
  • Carry out opening and closing procedures
  • Complete basic administrative and cash-handling tasks
  • Communicate effectively with Management Team

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational and administration skills
  • Computer literate, including basic Word and Excel
  • Experience of cash handling and customer transactions
  • Ability to lead by example when acting in a senior capacity
  • Must be 18+ due to bar duties
