Shift Supervisor - Goals Glasgow South (18+ only due to licensing). This role is primarily a Team Member position, with additional Shift Supervisor responsibilities undertaken when management cover is required. Job Responsibility:
Carrying out Team Member duties as core role
Supporting day-to-day operation of the Club across reception and bar functions
Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service
Managing bookings, enquiries, and payments accurately
Handling face-to-face and telephone sales
Operating tills and booking systems confidently
Working efficiently in a busy bar environment
Delivering high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation
Building rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and increased spend
Handling cash and card transactions responsibly
Supporting promotions and Club initiatives
When providing management cover: Act as the senior person on duty in the absence of a Manager
Ensure service, safety, and operational standards are maintained
Supervise and support Team Members on shift
Deal with escalated customer issues appropriately
Carry out opening and closing procedures when required
Complete basic administrative and cash-handling tasks
Communicate effectively with the Management Team regarding any issues arising during the shift
Requirements:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational and administration skills
Computer literate, including basic Word and Excel
Experience of cash handling and customer transactions
Ability to lead by example when acting in a senior capacity
