Shift Supervisor role at Goals Football, primarily a Team Member position with additional Shift Supervisor responsibilities undertaken when management cover is required. Part of a premier five-a-side football centre operator in the UK.
Job Responsibility:
Carry out Team Member duties as core role
Deliver high standard of customer service
Provide professional and welcoming front-of-house service
Manage bookings, enquiries, and payments
Handle face-to-face and telephone sales
Operate tills and booking systems
Work in a busy bar environment
Deliver high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation
Build rapport with customers
Handle cash and card transactions
Support promotions and Club initiatives
Work shifts that include evenings and weekends
When providing management cover: Act as senior person on duty in absence of Manager
Ensure service, safety, and operational standards are maintained
Supervise and support Team Members
Deal with escalated customer issues
Carry out opening and closing procedures
Complete basic administrative and cash-handling tasks
Communicate effectively with Management Team
Requirements:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational and administration skills
Computer literate, including basic Word and Excel
Experience of cash handling and customer transactions
Ability to lead by example when acting in a senior capacity
Must be 18+ due to bar duties
