A leading dairy company operating one of the largest private-label yogurt production plants in Greece, is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to join their dynamic production team.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, organize, and supervise production and packaging teams during the shift to ensure seamless operations
Monitor the production flow (milk, yogurt) to ensure adherence to the daily schedule and strict quality standards
Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), focusing on raw material waste, losses, and equipment downtime
Ensure full compliance with food safety protocols and hygiene regulations in line with ISO and HACCP standards
Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to report progress, deviations, or technical issues encountered during the shift
Work effectively with Quality Control and Maintenance departments to resolve production bottlenecks promptly
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably within the dairy or food industry
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), Food Technology, or a related field
Proven understanding of milk processing and fermented product production (e.g., yogurt, strained yogurt) will be considered a significant plus
Solid experience working within HACCP & ISO 22000 frameworks
Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate, and manage production teams effectively
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and experience using ERP systems
Good command of the English language
Nice to have:
Proven understanding of milk processing and fermented product production (e.g., yogurt, strained yogurt)
