Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term role designed to prepare an employee for a supervisory position such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Responsibilities include management, customer service, and learning key aspects of the business. Upon successful completion of training, candidates may be promoted to supervisory roles, supporting CVS Store Management and driving store execution while promoting customer loyalty.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and store crews
supervise the store's crew through assigning and directing all activities
effectively communicate information between store management and crews
assist customers with questions, problems and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts and to work overtime as needed
experience in retail preferred
high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
