Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level position designed to train employees for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Duties include completing management training, building customer loyalty, and supporting store operations. After completing the training program, trainees may be promoted to supervisory positions with responsibilities for store execution, customer service, and crew leadership.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and store crews
supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing, and following up on all activities
effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews
assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers
maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, and weekends
ability to work overtime as needed

Nice to have:

Experience in retail
high school diploma or equivalent
