Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term role that prepares an employee to perform a higher-level supervisory role. This position involves working with store management and crews, supervising activities, and completing training to develop management skills. The role also focuses on customer service through handling customer interactions and promoting a positive shopping experience. Upon successful completion of the training program, candidates may be promoted to Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and store crews
supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities
effectively communicate information between management and crews
assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, overnight and weekend shifts
ability to work overtime as needed
