Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level position preparing the employee for supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor through operations and management training. Responsibilities include supervising store crews, fostering customer loyalty through excellent service, and managing store operations in the absence of a manager.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and crews
supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up on all activities
effectively communicate information between store management and crews
assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers
maintain customer/patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts
ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice to have:

Experience in retail
high school diploma or equivalent
