Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level role that prepares employees for supervisory responsibilities. Trainees complete basic operations and management training and learn key aspects of building customer loyalty and CVS/pharmacy culture. Upon successful completion, trainees are eligible for promotion as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and store crews
supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing, and following up on activities
effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews
assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts
ability to work overtime as needed

Nice to have:

Experience in retail
high school diploma or equivalent
