As a Shift Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of your shift to ensure world-class performance across service, safety and value.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and monitor operational KPIs, ensuring resource planning is within budget and aligned with forecasts
Provide leadership and coaching to empower a high-performing team through clear objectives, development plans, and transparent communication
Champion safety by promoting safety values, ensuring compliance with relevant health and environment policies
Drive continuous improvement and engagement across the DC operation
Requirements:
Extensive operational leadership and people management experience, within FMCG, distribution, or a retail environment
Strong commercial acumen, planning and problem-solving skills
Experience using continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or lean processing principles
Expertise in managing safety and compliance, including knowledge of relevant OH&S and return to work legislation
