Our Newport Transport branch is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our team. As the successful applicant, you will play a key role in ensuring the branch runs efficiently, your team are motivated and supported and our customers have the best service delivery. Job Responsibility:
Ensuring the branch runs efficiently
Motivating and supporting the team
Ensuring customers have the best service delivery
Day-to-day management of the Branch Operations
Overseeing a team of Delivery Drivers & Vault Operatives
Ensuring deliveries, collections & storage activities are made safely, cost-effectively and in accordance with customer service agreements
Championing the 'Customer First' approach through product knowledge & understanding of the range of Loomis solutions
Appreciating customer requirements and quality standards
Working flexibly
Being available for out of hours alarm response on a roster basis as a key holder
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Shift Manager (or similar level)
Strong leadership skills
Confident communicator
High level of integrity and attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
Exceptional customer and commercial focus
Ability to continuously review performance and professionally deliver customer satisfaction
Prior experience of direct customer management and liaison
Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership and people management skills
Must be able to pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks
Must have verifiable 10-year employment/unemployment/educational history
Nice to have:
An SIA licence would be beneficial
