Job Description

We are looking for a Night Shift Leader who is dedicated to making every moment count. Be part of our dedicated support services team based in our Deveron Way Care Home located in Huntly.

Job Responsibility

Support the care, protection, and wellbeing of all residents
Report, record, and address issues related to staff, residents, relatives, or visitors
Manage staff schedules and support care staff
Contribute to residents' care planning and reviews
Administer and monitor medication
Maintain accurate records
Assist with physiological measurements
Oversee safety and security in the workplace
Promote health and safety practices
Support residents and families during palliative care and bereavement
Attend training to enhance skills
Monitor residents' nutrition
Work within Parklands' Quality Management System (Q.M.S)
Participate in mandatory training

Requirements

Completed SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (including Medication Administration unit)
Adaptable and able to lead effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage and motivate a team
