Job Description:

We are looking for a Shift Leader/Supervisor to join our team at Heerlen, Netherlands. This is an exciting role within a dynamic logistics company offering opportunities for professional growth and employee empowerment. The role involves team leadership, productivity monitoring, performance evaluations, and optimizing teamwork while working in a large and diverse warehouse environment.

Job Responsibility:

Leading daily team briefings and ensuring smooth shift handovers
Monitoring departmental capacity, tracking productivity, and identifying bottlenecks
Guiding team leaders and coordinators in optimizing teamwork and productivity
Conducting meetings, interviews, and performance assessments
Managing leave requests, timesheets, and team performance evaluation

Requirements:

A college degree (logistics education preferred)
At least 3 years of team management experience in a warehouse setting
Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improvement
The ability to motivate and empower large groups

Nice to have:

Dutch language skills
